The cryptographic attestation protocol and evidence architecture underlying the NORA platform. Ed25519-signed DSSE envelopes with SHA-256 anchored custody chains — falsifiable by any recipient without NORA cooperation.
7-Stage Attestation Lifecycle

PAE EncodingPayload is Pre-Authentication Encoded per DSSE spec.

SigningEd25519 signature is applied to the PAE-encoded payload.

SealChain hash links this attestation to the prior one.

Canon v0.2.0 is licensed under the NORA Canon Evaluation & Commentary License v1.0: proprietary, source-available, open peer review. Reading, citing, and commenting are granted. Implementation, redistribution, ML training, and commercial use require a separate license.
v0.1.1 and earlier remain MIT + CC0 irrevocably. Cutover commit: 05ebe1a (2026-05-18).
